Hilos Invisibles

Hilos Invisibles (Invisible Threads) is a series of images created between 2016 and 2019, when I began experimenting with a portraiture method rooted in intuitive movement. The resulting photographs, with traces of presence, reveal the threads that weave body, memory, and emotion.

For those I photographed, as well as for myself, the process carried therapeutic value — a recognition that the camera could hold space for both expression and transformation. This experience became the seed that led me to study art psychotherapy and somatic psychology, integrating creative process with therapeutic practice. The series begins with three self-portraits: moments of turning inward, where I encountered my own vulnerability and discovered photography as a medium that can not only witness but also transform the way we know ourselves.
