Fragments from art-based and autoethnographic research examining embodiment, movement and portraiture.

The photographs are cut off and scrolling over the other; a way to express the essence of the transformation that was felt in the experience of movement. This research is further development of the original artistic series Hilos Invisibles. I returned to examine the portraiture with myself as the subject again as a way to develop the method with an art psychotherapy-informed lens.

I chose one image to represent the experience of this session. It needed to be in color. It holds the memory, the transformation, the layers, and the feeling of wholeness; the peace that washed over me.
