Invisible Threads is a series of images stemming from a multidisciplinary portraiture method I began in 2016. My artistic intent focused on an exploration of the meaning that is embodied in intuitive movement.

 

Those who participated expressed the therapeutic value of the sessions, which led me to do a deeper study on the essence of what was happening in the artistic process.

 

I discovered that the portrait sessions, guided with therapeutic intention, can open a space where lived experiences difficult to articulate in words can come to light, become present, and ultimately can be transformed through movement.
